Background …
Moonshine Drive originated in 2007 in Cincinnati, Ohio, founded by Louis Mazzocca and brothers Greg and Marc Mecoli. The band quickly established itself with a sound that was both traditional and refreshing. The addition of mandolinist and sound engineer Cory Barrat in 2018 brought a new layer of depth to their arrangements, while the arrival of Clay Beverly in 2019 infused the group with a soulful edge, his original songs adding a personal touch to their performances.
Known for their lively sets at Arnold's Bar and Grill, a local favorite, Moonshine Drive has become a staple in the bluegrass scene.
